A member on Vimeo has put together a compilation of some of the movie references they were able to spot in the amazing Netflix show: Stranger Things

I loved Stranger Things. (Listen to some thoughts here and here!)  It tickled my nostalgia bone in ways that may be illegal in some states.  Ulysse Thevonon put together a supercut of scenes that corresponded to movies from the 70’s and 80’s and it is awesome.

 

While I’m sure there are more references that didn’t make the cut , this just shows the Duffer Brothers (and Ulysse) know their source material and reference the best.
