Ah, Army of Darkness.  Bruce Campbell could do no wrong back in the day.  Now he stars in really shitty direct to DVD movies and Burn Notice.  At least he still has his sense of humor.  I remember my father renting this when it first came out and he told my mother it was a comedy and that she would love it.  She didn’t, but I did.  It was scary but also hilarious.  I had no idea at the time that this was the third entry in the Evil Dead series.  I rectified that immediately and I still prefer the second one the most.  But I can’t deny that this flick is great.  If anything it allowed me to branch out and seek out older horror movies which was great.  Groovy.
