You Should Watch This: Jedi Junkies

It’s nice to watch a documentary on something I enjoy where the subjects aren’t all embarrassing to watch or who make you feel silly for what you enjoy.  It’s a problem that Ceej has with a lot of documentaries on his favorite past times such as The Dungeon Masters and Super Size Me (Ceej loves his McChickens).   In Jedi Junkies, the director shows a few different sides of fandom such as the  collectors, the fan film creators, the kids who just love the movies , and even a group of people who teach  how to properly use a lightsaber and perform fight choreography.

Some people may want to compare this to Trekkies, which is a film I absolutely love, but unfortunately it just doesn’t all gel together.  There does seem to be a lack of a focused narrative but if you are a huge fan of Star Wars then you’ll be able to overlook that and be amazed by just what some people do for their love of all things in a galaxy far, far away.
